The two best selling titles at the moment on GameCube are baseball games. And it makes us wonder if Nintendo really knows what they're doing when it comes to release schedule.

New comments from players have been for the following games: P.N.03, Tales of Symphonia, Resident Evil 4 and Naruto 2. Thank you matt, Kratos, Kotumi and Mad Max ! Other non-published comments have been moved to the forum in the related topic.
At Samurai Nintendo, the mere idea of a Dance Dance Revolution game based on Mario's universe is enough to make us feel like throwing up. But we didn't expect the game to perform as bad as it did in its first week and to be actually surpassed by Konami's baseball title ! Dance Dance Revolution with Mario sold a bit better than Metroid Prime 2, but about five times less than Fire Emblem for instance, a game whose sales results are far from being impressive. We give some thought to the situation in this week's Japan Ranking.

As promised, now that we passed the 100 voters mark, it's time to move to a new poll. This time our question is about the last GameCube titles to be released, which one of them will get your attention ? And because we all know The Legend of Zelda would get all your votes, the title is not among the choices.
Before going to vote, a few words about our previous poll. Unsurprinsingly, Resident Evil 4 received 40% of your votes, a crushing majority. It is followed by two RPG, Nintendo's own Mario RPG and Namco's Tales of Symphonia, this is quite an important message that needs to get accross to game makers. At the third place, also with equal votes, are Metroid Prime 2 and Pikmin 2, two beloved Nintendo franchises. Samurai Nintendo's personal disappointment is that you haven't been many to vote for Baten Kaitos, in our opinion, one of the most original and one of the best titles available on GameCube. Mario Tennis and Starfox Assault, failed to convince, while Donkey Konga and Japanese imports such as Zoids VS III and Naruto 3 only received marginal attention.

Perhaps this will become a regular feature of the forum/site; today, we will give a glance at the top 10 games in the Hype Ranking. Here they are:
1 The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess (36 points)
2 Harvest Moon Poem of Happiness (20 points)
3 Harvest Moon Another Wonderful Life (16 point)
3 Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen ! 3 (16 points)
4 Captain Tsubasa - Ougon Sedai no Chousen (8 points)
4 Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix (8 points)
5 Mobile Suit Gundam - Gundam vs. Z Gundam (7 points)
5 Starfox Assault (7 points)
6 Zoids VS. II (6 points)
6 Zoids VS. III (6 points)
No surprise, the next Zelda tops the ranking and is far ahead of its comrades in the heart of gamers. Below, it's not one, but two Harvest Moon titles which are chasing Zelda ! We must have some fans of Natsume's series visiting Samurai Nintendo. Fourth is Naruto 3, from the famous manga, a game many people are trying, in vain, to bring officially in the West. Publishers are blind, hopefully they're not deaf too so they'll hear naruto fans' cry of despair. Eight points below Naruto is another Japanese compatriot: Captain tsubasa, from the anime series. He, too, is very popular and yet entirely ignored by publishers.
With an equal number of points, Mario is moving his sexy chubby body in the Konami-directed dancing game Dance Dance Revolution. Samurai N hates the mere thought of such a game but seemingly it does have some fans. So be it ! Another Japanese friendu is number seventh, it's Gundam from the famous mecha fighting machines. Strangely, even though Gundam: Senshitachi no Kiseki seems a better game, it is ignored by our visitors. Sad situation. More spaceships below, Fox in his Arwing and the two latest Zoids games battle for supremacy.
Remember you can vote for any game you like any number of times, simply by "punching" the appropriate button in the related game page. Check the full Hype Ranking here: http://www.samurainintendo.com/am/hyperanking.php
