Samurai N without a home
February 17, 2003
Wrongfully accused of "storing file/remote loading", Samurai Nintendo's account was deleted and expelled from Tripod.com last week ! They refused to give any details and proofs regarding their accusation, and just said they will not reinstate us. Samurai N claimed his innocence, but they didn't reply. I tried to register with a different name, they erased the site again. So Samurai N's URL which is listed in several search engines around the world suddenly became useless. I can't even redirect the visitors, I don't have access to the name "sanjuro-nintendo" anymore ! It may sound like if I don't take it badly, but I'm actually furious against Tripod. They gave me troubles all the way, I should have left them long ago, but instead, as a final insult, they kick me out !

So, what now ? Now, I applied to Neopages. They seem to provide a terrific free web hosting, the only problem is that they are very selective. I hope Samurai N will match their expectation of a site deserving to be hosted. I will do my best to be chosen. Wouldn't a "nintendo.neopages.net" be fantastic ? *o*

In the meanwhile, Samurai Nintendo is not going to be updated. I moved the site to Tripod.fr in order to have a display for the application. I don't expect any visitors except some members of Neopages' forum. I don't plan to stay at Tripod.fr and I need to know what the future of my site will be before resuming to work on it. I might decide to move to another project if Samurai Nintendo's fate is to vanish. Well, I just want to thank Tripod France for hosting me for now. Just hope they're not going to erase the account during my application... it would be one more big bad joke to add to Samurai N's troubled existence.
